Designed as a 37-room boutique hotel, the building design had to accommodate a site that posed a variety of challenges from topography and unfavourable soil conditions to complicated access arrangements and a plethora of encumbrances. BGA worked closely with the engineering team to create a design that was striking, while also providing the maximize yield possible for this very narrow lot. This 6-storey structure is now the tallest building in the Aberdeen area of Kamloops.
