TNRD Public Library and Civic Building

The expansion included relocation of the primary entry of the shared use building which is occupied by the public library, TNRD offices, and the Kamloops Art Gallery so temporary access was required. A high priority was placed on keeping the construction period as short as possible to minimize the impact on users of the building, both occupants and the public. Since the building remained in use during construction (the Library was complete and operational again) the contractor was required to coordinate their activities with the occupancy groups to keep disturbance and disruption to an acceptable level.
